AT GROUSE MOUNTAIN
Experience the magic of a white Christmas at Grouse Mountain‘s Peak of Christmas. See how magical elves have transformed Grouse Mountain into Vancouver’s North Pole where you can have breakfast with Santa, visit him in his workshop, meet his real reindeer, vote for your favourite creation in the Gingerbread Village or take a spin on the mountaintop skating pond. Visiting the Peak of Christmas at Grouse Mountain is on our must-do list of family-friendly fun this holiday season. This Christmas, believe again!

THE POLAR EXPRESS
Polar Express is a magical Christmas event for the whole family! Get your golden ticket and board an actual passenger train to the North Pole. Includes characters from the movie, your golden ticket stamped by the conductor, hot chocolate, cookies & Christmas carols! At the North Pole enjoy a mini-rail ride, craft stations, photos with Mr. & Mrs. Claus who will give you a silver bell, and a letter to Santa station (where Santa himself will write you back). Food and beverages are also available & families are encouraged to wear their pajamas!
AT BRITANNIA MINE MUSEUM
Christmas Magic returns to the Britannia Mine Museum. Take a ride with one of Santa’s elves inside our mine tunnel where your family can meet the real Kris Kringle! Enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate and have your picture taken with Santa set against the backdrop of a magically decorated grotto. Then step inside their machine shop and explore a life-sized gingerbread world where Mrs. Clause will help you make your very own gingerbread house to take home with you.
AT CYPRESS MOUNTAIN
Nothing brings out the holiday spirit like crisp snow & great food. Get out and enjoy both on snowshoes at Cypress Mountain! For families with kids aged 6+, try the Winter Wanderer Tour or the Hollyburn Meadows Tour. Adults looking for a longer tour should definitely try the Cheese & Chocolate Fondue Snowshoe Tour. IN STANLEY PARK
Bright Nights is an annual holiday tradition for many families in the Lower Mainland and is a partnership between the Vancouver Park Board and the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. This festive event features the Bright Nights Christmas Train, Stanley Park Train Plaza display sparkling with three million twinkling lights, live entertainment and magical displays. You must buy a ticket to ride the train. Entry to the plaza to view the lights is by donation to the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.

The Aurora Winter Festival inspires the festive spirit through magical winter experiences. Escape into a hidden village by the North Pole filled with captivating light displays and magical characters, and enjoy the market huts, food gardens, amusement rides, live entertainment, and plenty of other joyful activities. From visiting Santa’s Workshop to lacing up your skates on the Frozen River, there is something for every age at the Aurora Winter Festival.

The city’s signature yuletide celebration amplifies and expands its festive offerings with more than 80 huts stuffed with sweets, treats, and treasures, coupled with an increased lineup of large-scale activities and live entertainment. The market is one of Vancouver’s beloved holiday events
in which to savour the abundance of authentic German-inspired sights, sounds, and flavours.

A WINTER LIGHTS FESTIVAL
Re-capture the feeling of wonder and excitement of the holiday season and be amazed by the hundreds of thousands of lights throughout the park. The suspension bridge, Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk, the rainforest and canyon are transformed into a world of festive lights and visual enchantment.

AT SEA TO SKY GONDOLA
From fondue in the cozy Summit Lodge, to photos with Santa, to headlamp hikes along their snowy trails, there truly is a winter adventure for everyone at the Sea to Sky Gondola!

AT GLOW GARDENS
Glow Gardens is back, bigger and brighter than last year, with a new “Around the World” Christmas theme, a private party room. Christmas revelers can expect to be amazed by the estimated one million lights throughout 4,000 square meters, as well as interactive fun like a Magic Castle Playground and LED swings.
Dates: November 22nd to January 19th
FLY OVER CANADA
Fly like Santa this Christmas on a magical flight across Canada. After meeting some of Santa’s elves, Chestnut and Pinecone, you’ll join them as they take flight across Canada looking for their fellow elves. You may even get a sneak peek of Santa’s Workshop as you soar over the North Pole.
