Sugar Plum Fairies, Christmas baking, gingerbread houses, snowball cookies… the holidays are the time for special treats. Most of our fondest childhood holiday memories involve sweet treats shared with family. As kids, we could hardly wait for the Christmas season to start so that we could pig out on all the goodies. As we are parents now, we still want to create those special holiday memories and traditions with our kids but need to be mindful of balancing out the healthy eating. The Holiday season seems to go on for much longer nowadays.
