10:00 am – Bobs & Lolo Concert

Bobs & LoLo are dedicated to connecting kids to the natural world with music, movement and make-believe. Sharing musical stories that engage, inspire & educate, they teach kids to care about themselves, their neighbours & the planet. Some of our recent favourites from this dynamic duo include Dirty Feet, Busy Bee & Shake It Up. We’re ecstatic to welcome them back to entertain families at Healthy Family Expo 2017 with a 1-hour concert at 10:00 am followed by a meet & greet session for kids at 11:00 am!

11:30 am – Seed Planting Workshop with Nature’s Path EnviroKidz

Nature's Path EnviroKidz Seed Planting Workshop

Nature’s Path EnviroKidz offers more than just delicious, organic food for families – they show their love for the planet by donating 1% of sales to animal conservation groups. Join them for a fun seed planting workshop at the Expo with tips & tricks on how to grow kale in your garden. They’ll provide the kale seeds and lots of hands-on fun for you & your kids!

12:30 pm – Jessie Farrell Concert with Daniel Tiger, SuperWHY, Scout & Daisy on Stage!

Canada’s country music sweetheart Jessie Farrell is a multiple CCMA-award winning vocalist and songwriter whose recent children’s albums “Take Me Outside” and “Chirp Chirp Happy” have songs featured in many episodes of the CBC Kids’ television series, “Scout & The Gumboot Kids.” Jessie is excited to return for Expo 2018 along with Daniel Tiger, SuperWHY, Scout & Daisy who will be joining her on stage!

2:00 pm – Science World On The Road

The On The Road program is run by Science World’s fantastic touring science team. It uses fun, inquiry-based demonstrations to engage British Columbians in science, to spark curiosity and stimulate learning. We’re thrilled to have the Science World On the Road team join our performance stage for Expo 2017 with their spectacular live science show called “Science Surprises” that includes a collection of their most popular demonstrations using fire, bubbles, locomotion & electricity!

2:30 pm – DANCEPL3Y Kids Class

DANCEPL3Y is the world leader in developing physical literacy through dance. Physical Literacy is the competence, confidence and motivation to be active for life. All DANCEPL3Y programs are specifically designed by physical educators and fitness experts to develop fundamental movement skills and foster a positive space where everyday people can discover the mental, physical and social health benefits of physical activity. Kids will love to test-drive a DANCEPL3Y class at the Expo on March 26th!

3:00 pm – Absolute Cheer & Tumbling Demo

Absolute Cheer & Tumbling has won several local, national and international championship titles and is excited to enter into their 10th season as the North Shore’s only premier Cheerleading & Tumbling training facility! Combining positive reinforcement within a structured and disciplined environment has allowed their athletes to grow into healthy, mature and happy sports enthusiasts driven by passion. Families at the Healthy Family Expo will have the pleasure of watching a cheer & tumbling demo by some of the facility’s most talented teens!

3:30 pm – Squamish Flow Ninja Demo

The mission of the Flow Training Centre in Squamish, BC,  is to promote creativity and physical autonomy. It is a family-oriented training facility specializing in Parkour, Martial Arts, and Acrobatics. The 3,000 square foot facility houses a martial arts floor, safety pads, hard and soft obstacles, seating areas, washrooms, physio clinic, and a weight room. Head down to the Healthy Family Expo this year to catch a ninja demo by a group of passionate, talented teens!
