We constantly struggle with allergies in our house. Walnuts and egg are our demons,  two family friends have Celiac children, and another has peanut and soy allergies. Yikes!

It was always a battle for us to have healthy, easy to grab snacks on hand. We often offer cinnamon apples (mix sliced apple & 1/4 tsp cinnamon) but that doesn’t always work, especially if the kids want to grab their own snacks on the go.

About a year ago we were introduced to FreeYumm, a new North Vancouver company owned by a local mom, and now we have portable, nutritious bars & cookies that we can safely share with our hiking, biking, or park playing friends.

I can feel completely confident because not only are they made with all natural ingredients free of artificial fillers, but FreeYumm bars and cookies are produced in a facility that is diligent about ensuring that the top nine priority allergens are never allowed on site.

…and that means absolutely no:

Milk
Eggs
Wheat/Gluten
Peanuts
Soy
Tree Nuts
Sesame
Seafood
Sulphites

What we also love about FreeYumm is the wide range of new flavor options!

We all have our favourites:

  • Daddy bear loves Honey Hemp & Seed Bars
  • Mama Bear goes for Honey Apple & Oat Bars; and
  • Baby bear thinks Raspberry Chia Bars are juuuust right!

But you can try them all at the Healthy Family Expo on March 6th and decide for yourself!

We love these snacks so much – we are excited to be able to share them with you.

We’re giving away a $100 FreeYumm gift basket that includes a package of each flavour (that’s 8 boxes of allergen-free deliciousness) and a Beatrix NY lunch box!

Enter through Rafflecopter below. Giveaway ends Thursday, February 11th at 11:59 pm and is open to residents of Vancouver’s Lower Mainland and the Sea to Sky Corridor.

Good luck everyone!
